PM5 mounting hardware size

Post by 64bits » August 28th, 2020, 5:54 pm

Can anyone confirm what size the nut is that holds the PM5 onto the mount?

Mine is really loose and I need to tighten it. I measured and it looks like it’s 9/16” (but I don’t have any sockets here at the moment to try it)

Not the knob. I’m talking about the nut inside the hinge:

You'll need to call Concept2 for support. There are no bikeerg spare parts listed on their shop site.

I’m not looking for a replacement. I want to know the size (looking for someone to place a socket or wrench on theirs to find the size)

Its 9/16" or 9/16th of an inch socket.

The best setup is the head of the bold in that hex recess on the right hand side and put one of the new Concept 2 adjustable knobs on the left hand side of it (sitting on the Erg). No spanners or sockets required.

That’s a great idea. Thanks. (I’ll still need a wrench to get the nut off, but I like having the knob)
