wrist pain issue

Post by dh7 » May 2nd, 2020, 12:08 am

so I've had the BikeErg for the past year and a half and never really had any issues until recently after swapping my saddle with first an old Selle Anatomica one (too saggy) and after a couple weeks a Brooks B-17. Along with all of this, I wound up fiddling with seat/handle heights and positions to a point where my wrist has been unhappy with me for the past day I think because I now wound up leaning forward more and putting more weight against the handle so my geometry is obviously out of whack relative to before.

is there an ideal angle my wrist should be if I'm normally on the straight middle section of the handle bars? I've been mostly riding upright.

Like a regular bike, your elbows should be slightly bent when holding on to what are the Faux brake hoods. Also, be care full with the dreaded death grip. You should pretend you are holding on to something delicate. At least that is how you ride with a real bike.
