Thanks, the problem seems to be as linked! The solution I have to look at leisure, will not be 100% sure via online translation if I understand it correctly. ... Before I possibly put the hammer on the screw ... My English is unfortunately bad
Was there ever a note from C2 on this? Unfortunately, the German C2 has still not contacted me. Becomes slowly embarrassing

Actually you pull the screw, while gently tapping the crank to make sure it's on all the way.
The objective is to make sure the cranks are on all the way, while the bolts are being tightened.

Thanks for the explanation, I will check it this weekend
In the next bad weather phase, I will start a long indoor bike ride and report back.

Good news!
1. The contact with C2 has now worked. They had replied to my e-mail inquiries, but these e-mails did not reach me. (for whatever reason(no, no spam!))
2. C2 has sent me two new washers, reinforced with steel. Means the problem is known.
Am satisfied, but wonder that I could not see this solution on the C2 website.

Instructions for mounting
Thanks for support

Re: BikeErg . Clacking noise, area; bottom bracket / crank arms
C2 sent me those too but they didn't make any difference.
The issue is the tiny screws and bolts being too weak to hold on the cranks.
Also, the screws kept hitting my ankles, so I left them off, and didn't use the washers at all.
The only purpose of the screws is to help get the bolts on tight, and after that they're not needed.
So far this and the procedure above have been working better for me and I've not had to redo the process.

Re: BikeErg . Clacking noise, area; bottom bracket / crank arms
I have found a solution that helps me.
I have lubricated the pedal and crank arm by spraying gun oil or lock oil into the shaft area of pedal and crank arm. No need to open anything. It may not have an immediate effect, and I may have to repeat the process one or two times, but after that, everything works again.
In my case the clacking noise starts again after about 2000 km, but repeating the lubrication has solved the problem for about five times already.
Hope this helps others suffering the same problem.
