Add Number Stickers to Damper for Better Visibility

1.) Added Vinyl Number Stickers — Round, 1/2 inch diameter, White Numbers, Black Background for better Visibility. I also added a tiny strip of glow-in-the-dark tape to the flywheel/damper power indicator lever. Something like this should be standard on all dampers.

That's a good idea. I have an OG Model D, so it is blue. I simply wrote on it with a sharpie. My other Model D is cream colored, but the numbers are visible. My SkiErg and BikeErg are black like yours. I might try the stickers!

I put little strips of white tape there with the drag factor written on them. Same white tape on the lever. I only marked the "common" drag factors, in my case 60 (about lever position 3) to 150 (lever position 6 1/2). I guess I will be able to tell when the fan needs cleaning; when the lever doesn't line up with my original clean fan tape positions.

I agree that there needs to be better contrast there to allow quick "gear changes" for hills or coasting.
