Is this a real BikeErg and PM5?

Post by Gusgus » February 25th, 2024, 9:09 am

Hi guys,

I own a model D rower and love it.
Found this BikeErg at an auction site.

It looks exactly like a BikeErg, but it is unbranded.
(I don't have permission to post pictures).

The monitor looks a like a PM5, but that, too is unbranded and the three bottom buttons are marked up, mode and reset (by the manufacturer).

The five buttons to the right are marked:
- Interval 20/10
- Interval 10/20
- Recovery
- Start stop
- Total reset

An OEM version, perhaps?
Any input appreciated.

Thanks,
Gus

Sounds like a knock-off. The PM5 is designed especially for Concept2 and fits their equipment only. I don't think there is even a OEM involved for producing it.

Highly suspect. Why won't they let you post a pic? The PM5 is C2's proprietary design and the button labeling doesn't sound like anything C2 has done. There are a lot of knock-offs out there and this sounds like one of them.

Unbranded? Won't allow photos to be posted? Sound like a solid, "NO BUENO!!" :!: :!:

BTW, welcome to the forum.
