Good news!
1. The contact with C2 has now worked. They had replied to my e-mail inquiries, but these e-mails did not reach me. (for whatever reason(no, no spam!))
2. C2 has sent me two new washers, reinforced with steel. Means the problem is known.
Am satisfied, but wonder that I could not see this solution on the C2 website.
