Saving Workouts on PM5

Post by davidevans1 » September 12th, 2020, 2:34 pm

I've just started doing the Concept 2 Workut of the Day, some of which are pretty good.
However inputting today's Easy workout involved entering a 69 keystroke sequence (buttons A-E) to input the pyramid workout from 1000 metres down to 200 metres and back up again!
I managed to enter it correctly at the second go!
Two questions:
  • 1. If I accidentally press the wrong key when entering the sequence, is there a way of going back a step or is the only option to start off again?
    2. Can I save a workout (to do again in a couple of weeks or whenever) or do I have to input all the keystrokes all over again?
Thanks.

If you have a USB stick, you can save your custom workout as a favourite. Up to 10 can be stored this way. I have a couple of pyramid rows saved this way.

I think there might be some apps too you can set up your intervals on and these get sent to the PM5 as a much easier way of programming it. I am sure someone else will be along soon to let you know which one does this.

Edit: I think its ErgZone.

A long way away from any of these PBs now!!

Dino - thank you, I'll look at ErgZone and failing that use a USB stick.
