Any tricks or tips regarding visualising and concentrating on the different parts of the pedalling cycle please ?
Rowing was fairly easy to concentrate on technique with both legs and both arms acting together doing the same thing.
With the bike its quite difficult for me to concentrate on one leg "scraping the mud off the toe" whilst the other leg"rolls the barrel along the floor"
My brain is only capable of thinking about leg or one thing at a time
ie scrapemud left leg, scrape mud right leg etc etc
or
Left Leg : Scrape mud, roll barrel, csrape mud roll barrell, scrape mud roll barrell,
any hints tips websites etc welcome .........thanks.

If you ask the cycling ‘experts’ you will get diverse opinions.
It comes down to what is better ‘spinning’ or ‘stomping’. Spinning sounds better, making those nice clean circular movements, but do you really need to do that? You can find a lot of discussion on that on numerous sites. I can post some of that when I find it.
If you really want to develop a nice clean spin, for what it’s worth, you can try single leg cycling, which a lot of cyclist do as part of their training.

Dreadnought,
Thanks for the replies and the website.
The first video link on that website is quite a surprise, I didnit realise that there was different opinions on this, I assumed it was all very mysterious and technical, so I will be happy for a while yet just to try my best and go my fastest however I can.
