Optional seat posts for Bikeerg

Post by Maddawg067 » January 4th, 2020, 11:58 pm

Hey all, just bought a new Bikeerg and finally got it assembled today. However, I was disappointed when my 5ft 1 and 1/2 wife got on the bike at the lowest position and it was still too tall. I read there was an optional shorter seat post for purchase to lower the minimum seat height to 28 inches. Has anyone had similar issues? Also, has anyone been able to purchase a shorter seat post? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

LOL... That was my initial intention, but the office is closed on the weekends. I just wanted to put feelers out in the meantime.

The shorter seat post recently became available in the US as an add-on option.
Here is the Fit Guide, and here is an earlier thread.
The seat post inseam ranges (measure inseam to floor) are as follows:
short - - - - - - 26 to 35 inches
standard - - - 28 to 37 inches <--- the only option when ordering a new BikeErg
tall - - - - - - - 31 to 41 inches
bikeerg 75 5'8" 155# - 18.5 - 51.9 - 568 - 1:52.7 - 8:03.8 - 20:13.1 - 14620 - 40:58.7 - 28855 - 1:23:48.0
rowerg 56-58 5'8.5" 143# - 1:39.6 - 3:35.6 - 7:24.0 - 18:57.4 - 22:49.9 - 7793 - 38:44.7 - 1:22:48.9 - 2:58:46.2

John,
Thanks for the info and earlier thread. Sorry for repeat questions since I did not see this asked earlier. I saw the fit guide which annotated the short seat post. I have already sent an email inquiring about it. I'm in the US and will be calling them in the morning to see what I can finagle. I think it should be an option when purchasing a new piece of equipment at that price. I will update on any new information.
