Indoor Rowing World Record Attempt - We need rowers!!
Posted: July 30th, 2014, 6:36 pm
Hi guys,
We're hosting a large team continuous rowing world record attempt at the Madjeski Stadium in Reading on 1st and 2nd October and are seeking 62 rowers to spend 30 minutes on the erg to set a new world record of 31 hours. It will be a mixed event so we'll need guys and girls to join us for what I hope will be a really fantastic couple of days with plenty of local media coverage. We're seeking a pledge of £120 to take part with every penny raised going to charity - we'll be supporting Cancer Research UK but if you have charity close to your heart that you'd prefer to support with your pledge then that of course is brilliant.
If you're close to Reading (or happy to commute) I'd love to hear from you - please reply to this post or drop me an email at daveholby@yahoo.co.uk if you'd like to know more or would like to take part.
Best wishes,
Dave
