Summer Solstice 2019

Taking part in one of Concept2's individual challenges? This is the place to talk about it.

Thanks to both of you for your feedback. It re-affirmed what i did and gave me some information for next years event. When’s the event in Wales? It sounds like it could be a crazy event to be involved in?

The event in Wales was some years AGO. I don't think anyone has plans to do it again.

Not sure if anyone checks this old thread but curious, I saw the person with the most meters for the summer solstice 2019 challenge was "glenn r smith" who rowed a shocking 300k+ which is well above the world record for 24 hour row in his age division. Is this indeed a new world record, or does the summer solstice challenge have a different rule set somehow? Quite an insane pace for 50+ age!
