Hi all,
Just a quick one to let you know my fiance Anita Wells and I are now in training (The Eddie Fletcher Marathon plan for 1 2/3rd cycles, with some longer rows near the end) for a 100km erg on the Saturday before Sport Relief in March (17th) 2012.
Our blog for the training is at http://anitaandandy100km.blogspot.com/, and nearer the time I'll post our Justgiving page if anyone would be kind enough to sponsor us.
This challenge also has dual purposes as we are getting married in June 2012 and want to look our best and feel our fittest for the big day - Surely rowing 3800km between us in the next 5 months will get us there?
If anyone has any tips and advice both during the training and for the event please don't hesitate to drop us a line either here or on the blog.
We are 2 days into the training, having done the 4 15 minute intervals today (I'm training to a 2:03/500m split Marathon, Anita 2:27 in January) and must admit the 4th 15min was a killer
With regards to the 100km I'm planning somewhere close to 7 hours, Anita between 8:30 and 9
Cheers,
Andy Pearce & Anita Wells

You're more likely to get a reaction by posting on http://concept2.co.uk/forum where the Brits hang out.
