LUNA-TICS Astro-rower-naut Team Room - Hangin' Out Together
meter stones
Eric Nelson just hit a million meters!
We also have 40 rowers, over half our team, who are currently over 100,000 meters.
Awesome.

C2 is going to be giving away a lot of stuff for all the Million mile rowers and people that are going to surpass a Million for the season.Calamity wrote:Eric Nelson just hit a million meters!

I never thought I could row 10,000 m at one time before this challenge! Today I not only did that, but I also hit 100,000 this month, first time I've had a 6 digit month!
Thanks for a great time during this challenge. I've lost 5 lbs between this and the Holiday Challenge. I know I'll make my goal of a Million Meters by Mother's day - at least if my kids forget C2 will send me a gift!

ETA moon
Lucky you! We got only 7 inches. Shoveling took about an hour.Kristine Strasburger wrote:Well, after shoveling snow for two and a half hours (we had 14.5 inches fall overnight) I hurt all over - so no rowing today...
Monday morning along the river where we paddle in the summer
The fleet of 3500 challenge rowers should reach the moon today!
Earth to moon
Perigee: 363,104 km
Apogee: 405,696 km
Average: 385,000 km
All rowers: 376,219 km 1/28/08 AM
Now, how do we get back???
The LUNA-TICS have rowed 12,068 km as of this morning or about the distance from Los Angeles to Sydney!
Beautiful picture!!
I lived in NE Pennsylvania for 17 years. We had lots of snow to deal with too.I am now in SW Florida and don't miss it at ALL.But I do empathize with you both ..all the long hours of shoveling.Quite a work out in itself.
We used to have to shovel just to get out of the house.MOUNDS of snow.
The pictures are beautiful.
I like it here where all the white we experience is sand.
Great job LUNA-TICS...our journey to the moon has been so enjoyable.
