TEAM TIMBUK2(TIMBUKTU)...JVC08
Hey TIMBUK2 Crew,
The JVC has been a wild ride thus far. The experience has been terrific and the motivation you have provided unbeatable – in short; a great team, a superb captain and many fine rowers. Yesterday was a day of PB’s for me that I’d like to share with you, after all, I would not have made it without you:
Longest distance rowed in a single day
Longest distance rowed in a single week (with one day left!)
Longest distance rowed in a single month (with five days left!)
Thanks for everything so far and row strong and steady through the 31st!
GO TIMBUK2!
Take care,
Mike

I agree with you Mike. The motivation from this team is just unbelievable. PJ makes me smile everyday with her posts. I eeked by on the Holiday challenge and figured I would match it for this one, but I will have doubled my distance by the time the month is over.
Thanks again TIMBUK2.....
(and I'm not even on this team!)

Congrats Mike !!!
These challenges give us srength we never realized that we had.It unlocks the amazing abilities we have and we benefit in many ways..with good health, fitness, peace of mind and group support.
We also make great new friends..all with one thing in common..rowing and the Concept2 machine..who would have thought that this would be so much fun when it is so much work?????
Thanks for dropping in Pat..good to "see" you and congrats on your achievements as well.We are in this together no matter what team!!!

- Progress logged between Sat 26 Jan 06:00 GMT and Sun 27 Jan 06:00 GMT.
- Fighting spirit is a measure of your proportional rate of ascent of the rankings. 100% means you've maintained your place in the overall rankings. If you were ranked at 200, and climbed to place 180 in the 2 days since you last logged any distance, your Fighting spirit would be ((200-180)/(200x2) + 1) x 100 = 105%. Similarly, if you were ranked at 1000 and climbed to place 950 in one day, your Fighting spirit would also be 105%.
- A '/' means yesterday's logged distance has been split between the number of days since you last logged any metres (or day 14, when these stats were started.)
Well done to all the above for pushing TIMBUK2 onwards.
Nathaniel
We're almost there..the end..the finish line.
Just 4 days after today. Our job will be done for this challenge and there will be more challenges for us to meet.Think about your goals for future challenges and think about what will keep you motivated the days after this challenge has ended.
Undertake something that is difficult; it will do you good. Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.
Ronald E. Osborn
I think there is another challenge coming up in March..are we up for it?
I will keep you posted.

I would really like to keep TEAM TIMBUK2 alive post challenge. This team is amazing and has such strength & spirit.
There is a challenge in March..for teams only..The NARC.Virtual teams participated last year.
It is the North America Rowing Challenge.
I hope that you all will be interested..it will be from March 15 through April 15th.
In the meantime..There is a Valentines Day Challenge..14,000 meters to be rowed from Ferbruary 9th thru the 14.
And March Madness 5000 meters a day through the month to be eligible for drawings.
Lots of great ways to keep motivated and stay fit and healthy through 2008.
