Unfortunately, for at least one of us, the deadline came a tad earlier. After apparently too much deliberation, I finally chose a team, and attempted to sign onto the crew. The only welcome I received was "You are not taking part in the World Rowing Challenge. The deadline for entry was 3/28/2009."

This, by the way, was at around 13:15 EDT on 3/28/2009, which by my calculations was before C2's 11:59:59pm 3/28/2009 deadline.

No huge deal, really -- I'm usually more of a solitary practitioner than a group joiner. Just have a real weakness for challenges, even when the only prize is a certificate.

All that said, I'd like to apologize to the Forum Flyers -- I really had hoped to be tossing some meters your way. And, best regards to all the WRC '09 participants!

I thought the deadline was midnight the 28th and I see numbers adding today...hmmm..strange.
