They then found a fun song to row to on youtube - but it's under going maintenance right now... so they returned to their trusted sheepcafe to play some games. Play "Paper, Rock and Scissors" with a sheep during a rest break! http://www.sheepcafe.de/games/ssp.swf

(It's in German - but with the pictures it's pretty self explanatory.)

Hello Ewe Rowers,

I'm celebrating breaking 100 km for the WRC Friday evening, and reaching 800 km lifetime total. (I started rowing in Dec 2007). I pulled harder toward the end of the week thinking I would start catching up to Liz, but she took off, leaving me in her wake. GO Liz!

This week I dug out an an old favorite coffee mug (circa 1987) to toast team Ewe Row.

The sheep were quite disturbed by today's sheep link from the BBC, but they allowed me to post it after learning no sheep were harmed in the creation of the game. Please don't try this at home or with any sheep you know!

Congratulations Chuck! on reaching the 150, 000 meter milestone!

The sheep salute your rowing accomplishment! Image

As for me, the sheep had me figuring out how to play the Region 2/PAL Shaun the Sheep DVDs on my computer - but with that all figured out - they are ready to cheer me on for rowing tomorrow. (They do have their priorities. ;) )

For today's sheep link they present the sheep, wolf, cabbage rowing game.

Hi Team!

The sheep wanted to wish those who are celebrating holidays a Happy Holiday! And remind everyone that rowing is an excellent way to work off all those Easter and Passover meals and chocolate, an excellent stress release and of course great fun. (They've challenged me to row 2800 meters today in honor of the blessing the sun ritual, an event that only comes about 28 years.)

No matter how much or how little you can row, they will be cheering you on even though I won't be posting for a bit.

Todays Sheep links: Catch an easter egg!
http://www.sheepcafe.de/cards/flash/ost ... gsheep.swf

And: The sheep demonstrators: Happy Easter for All! Say no to the Easter Lamb (the sheep insisted on this one! ;))
Image

Cute sheep & passover pictures are quite hard to find - but I hope this one will do. (Those familiar with the songs sung at the end of the seder might want to look closely at what is being sold. Took me a while to notice it. :) ) Image

Sheepster, Thanks for all your support! You've really been a big help, encouraging me to exceed my stretch goal. When I started, my goal was 120 Km with a 150 Km stretch goal. With a week to go, it's gravy from here to the end. I lost a couple of pounds too. My only embarrassment is that leg of lamb is on the menu for Easter dinner.... (I hope I won't be kicked off the team for that one.)
Best,
Chuck
