Just wanted to say one last hello to everyone. I have posted my last meters for the competition. I am looking forward to a rest tomorrow morning.

Thanks Pat for keeping the forum going, I come here everyday to see how we are getting on. You and Len led the way with the meters.

This is only my second team competition, the team has given me great motivation to row each and every day. I loved the Lance Armstong quote, it certainly helped me today.

Great team and great Captain - Thanks!! :D

and here's to ALL the SHOOTING STARS who passed the 100,000 meter mark..the 200,000 meter mark..the 300,000 meter mark and beyond!!!

I most likely missed a few but the STARS were so bright and fast that in my attempt to catch them all..I missed them!!

But I have noticed them all along the journey.Without these bright stars to lead the way we would never have rowed the outstanding distances we have...all in the TIMBUKTU-ian way!!!

Pat's been encouraging us all along for our accomplishments, so I'd like to mention one of hers. I know for a fact that she rowed over a quarter of a million more meters for NARC than she did for JVC, because I kept trying to catch her in January (with no avail).
I also want to mention what a godsend this challenge and this team have been. I've been a seasonal tax preparer for nine years, and this is the first year that I didn't end tax season feeling like a slug. In other words, I didn't gain my usual 5-7 holiday/tax season pounds, and I also got a reasonable amount of exercise for the first time ever during tax season.
Thanks to everyone for their motivation, and I'm looking forward to the fall team challenge.

Just wanted to send a big thank you and congrats to the whole team. For everyone who pulled 1 meter to whatever Pat's incredible distance was thank you. I pulled more meters in a month than I ever thought was possible. Thanks to Pat for captaining this team. Lets take a day or so off and hold our 30th position in the team standings.
