Urge to erg

Post by ferrous2 » April 13th, 2007, 8:36 pm

Well I finally ordered a rowing machine (Model D w/PM4) today and can't wait to get started. I row on the water (Bay21 shell) but not consistently enough to keep in shape. This is a key step in a plan to live healthier. I'm a type I diabetic that has finally realized that denial has got me nowhere. I'm stoked about starting a fitness regimen that will provide benefits too numerous to list. Wish me luck!

Pete,

I'm inspired by your enthusiasm. I recently started erging again this last month, and I share your vigor.

Good luck in your health and fitness endeavors!

Well it finally arrived and I put in my first workout. I think I'm going to like this a lot.

Please excuse my need to post when there really isn't anything to discuss.....just trying to keep myself motivated.

Three times on the erg now and I'm sore. I thought I was taking it easy but maybe not. Of course it could have been the water skiing I did this weekend...

Still loving the erg and got my wife into the act last night.
