weird lump: should I erg?

Post by karolina.newgard » April 9th, 2020, 12:28 am

Hi!

Over the last few months i've had some sort of painful lump in the center of my chest around where my bra strap goes (and where my erg handle touches my body at the finish). Recently it's become somewhat painful, especially at the finish: Sometimes, especially when I get fatigued, it will knock some air out of me at the finish. I've been off the erg for about two weeks now, and it hasn't gotten much better. Have any of y'all had a similar problem? Should I be on the erg?

hi karolina,
there are not many people here on the board that could offer a qualified medical opinion for your question.
Quite honestly, I would refer your question to a proffesional.

It sounds like it could just be swelling from the impact (try leaning back more), but I have no medial background
