As I'm always interested in learning anything related to health and fitness i was wondering if there are any newsletters that are worth subscribing to? I get Livestrong and Stack (although that's not that useful)

I probably have learned more about general wellness since my wife developed Fibromyalgia. Turns out, most of the things (Holistic as she doesn't do meds) that are good for Fibromyalgia, are also typically good for overall wellness and anti-aging.
Some of my favorites (they all push supplements but you don't have to buy them) are Chris Kresser (very Paleo oriented but informative and mostly study backed), Dr Perlmutter (a Holistic Neurologist), Mark Hyman (President of the Functional Medicine Association in the US) and Self Hacked (Joe Cohen a guy who had a lot of health issues that now has a research science backed site on health with MD/PhD reviews of articles). The general takeaways are we all eat too much fast/processed food, too much vegetable oil and are generally stressed out and contribute to that with loads of caffeine. Also, chemicals and too much electronics at night are killing us all slowly. Interesting reads none the less and I've learned a ton along with my wife to help her. She's pretty much went from couldn't get out of bed to fully in remission with diet/lifestyle and supplement changes only (no pills).

Thanks Mike, and that's a fantastic result for your wife and by default, you too.
Gammmo, one of the few other things that I love more than erging is music, so podcasts aren't really an option. I buy minimum 10-15 albums a month and sometimes as many as 20

Two I read every week are the UC Berkeley Wellness Letter and Harvard Health Publications. Both include lots of information about nutrition and fitness and seem very sensible.

Dr. Mirkin is my 'go to' guy for nutrition information, and the occasional sports relevant topic. And, like Mike said, the things that seem to be healthiest for us often benefit physical performance - with my addition - "especially as we age". I tend to prefer the video format.
