Info needed on Adaptive gear

Don't quite know what category on the forum to place this question - so I'll take a stab at the Health and Fitness section. I'm facing a bout of surgery on my right hand sometime in the next few months. The surgery involves removing a chunk of tendon from my forearm and placing it into the space of the joint at the base of my thumb (YUK!). My hand surgeon told me this is a common procedure and I should be fine in a "few months". During much of the recovery time, I'll be in physical therapy and there's no way to state with any degree of accuracy how long I'll not be allowed to erg or do any upper body weight training that requires to hands. This is a total bummer! However, I want to explore the possibility of familiarizing myself with gear that adaptive rowers use. Question: Does anybody out there know anything about the gear rowers with the use of only one hand/arm use? As I stated, the surgery is not imminent, but it looks like it will probably happen in 2017. Thanks very much in advance.
