Adjusting to erg with a new limited ROM...

Post by Eric308 » November 19th, 2016, 4:13 pm

Anybody out there with knee replacements or whatever that don't allow for a full slide? I'm about 105 degrees both knees and can do maybe a 3/4 at best. This increases stroke rate...I find now on a 2K to achieve anywhere near a respectable time I'm at about 34spm. Just trying to get some guidance working with the new limitations.

I'm pre replacement (by some years I hope) Eric so still have ROM but have seen some post ops and yes it seems it is just not possible to go full slide. It is possible of course to do a 2k and sr34 - my suspicion is that it is going to mean that we will need to be fitter than everyone else just to be able to do that!
