Think of it this way. Things are going well, and you like it. Never change a winning team. Keep it simple, if you lose weight, you burn more energy then you get in. So eat more. I am not a fan of just eating crap. Carbs are overated, eat whole foods, eat more fat. Simply find a new balance what keeps your weight in check.
Bingo! Things are indeed going very well, and i am so glad i got myself a C2. Already, after just not many months i feel a completely new man. Rowing has transformed my life and lead me on to wanting to incorporate other forms of exercise training and i have to be honest, it's basically having that snowball effect!! As i am even doing heavy punch bag work now too :D

For the most part i am eating all the real foods (just obviously need to consume more of them per day)... steaks every few days, fresh 100% chicken most days, tuna 2-3 times per week. Fresh veggies almost every day, and fruits & nuts very often. Full fat milk, lots of water daily... so doing it right for sure and it's showing in my performances. Yeah, i know if i started just eating crap it would really affect my performance but it's fine to indulge in the unhealthy stuff every once in a while. Rather than say having a "cheat day" Just have a cheat meal

You've lost 30 pounds in a couple months? It sounds like you're eating a lot of calories. Were you completely sedentary before this? You're at a healthy weight now, but if you keep losing weight while trying not to, it could be something medical and not a sign you aren't eating enough. I think it would be wise to see a doctor - let him know about your weight loss and whether you have any other changes (frequent urination, increased heart rate, etc). He will look for a hormonal cause - diabetes, hyperthyroid, etc.

Anth, you could always go on the creatine mono like I have...that's good for a kg or so. :) (I know that's not the real answer.)
I need all the help I can get! Struggling to get anywhere near 75kg, despite largely knocking the running/cycling on the head. Another thing to add to the above...if weight loss is not arrested (and you think it should) another thing to consider is whether your gut is working well. About 4 years ago I was diagnosed Coeliac and had to go gluten free - if I'd carried on [eating gluten] I would've found it very difficult to keep weight on.

Erg on!

Yeah i was totally sedentary before this, for almost 2 years!! I was a complete lazy slob, who lived on takeaways most days of the week as i never even had enough motivation to cook myself a meal  Buying a C2 rower was the only thing i fancied to get myself out of this horrific rut i was in with my life. And so glad i did, because i took to it like a duck takes to water and it's transformed my life. (I have picked up an injury however at this present time so currently out of action) But generally, i am in a much happier place in my life thanks to regular daily exercises :)

My weight seems to have hit a plateau now... weighed myself yesterday, and still same as when i made this thread

I may try it Gammmmo, cheers
