I have shoulder surgery at the end of October and my PT said I should row as long as it doesn’t hurt. First row session today went alright.

Yes although i am not authorised in any way, i think the important message is that you should keep moving, as long as you are not in any pain, then thats fine, you are the only one who knows how you feel, keep it up, good luck with the surgery.....

Both my shoulders are surgically repaired. I think your PT's advice is sound. Your PT is presuming that as long as you are not hurting, you are not aggravating your injury. Good luck on the surgery and the recovery.

i had a knee surgery last December, took me off the Erg for 5 solid months.
rowed for 3 months till August where i started having pain at the end of my sessions.
now im out for the last two months and i do PT.
frustrating.
