Anyone hear of this fitness tracker wearable (it's an Italian company that makes it, been around for a while)? They have a website. It's a wearable tracker for weightlifting. I'm thinking about getting it for my son for Christmas (he wouldn't get much else!). Not cheap but it looks pretty amazing. I've heard rumor that Apple is trying to imitate it a bit in their next fitness tracker.
So far, there have been really limited fitness trackers for weight lifters. My son is really into heavy lifting (the basics -- deadlifts, squats, benches, etc). He's really into efficiency and (I believe) would like the data presented on this. Supposedly, it gives you biofeedback on if you can lift more or if you're being efficient in your lifts. Sounds a lot like an ErgData for weightlifters, which is a really cool notion. Automatically tracks their workouts into a web portal on their site (like the logbook). I've tried to get him into rowing, but he's 5' 7" and only 150 lbs or so, so he rows on occasion, but it's not his thing (even though he can nearly row a 20' 5K).
Anyone used it or known anyone that has? It's on sale this week (for Cyber week) at $199.
