Odd question (FOR THE MEN)
Okay, this happened to me a few years ago when I was rowing pretty steadily and, now that I have a rowing machine in the house, I am rowing steady again. I've had the same problem come up again. My testes are getting knocked around. What's up with that? On longer rows it gets to hurting so much that I have to sacrifice form in order to work around it. I am kind of allowing my knees to come out a bit on the recovery to allow them to "fall into place" before the drive in order to work around it, but I don't want to do that. It's only sometimes and I don't know why. Surely I can't be the only one that has had this problem. What do you folks do to avoid it?

What kind of underwear are you wearing to row?

Yes it can be a problem. I'm now wearing skins or what can be described as a type of light compression short. Pretty much offers support and holds everything in place.
What is required sometimes is a bit of errrr......repositioning of the offending parts during the early stage of a row and its all good after that.

I often put on a jock strap to keep things in place.

It's called a "package" for a reason.....you have to wrap that s*** up.
Briefs are the go.
Bits start to droop on a bloke if they're not supported....honestly....
