Knocking sound on pulldown of arms

This is my second Skierg, the first one I returned as there was a knocking sound when I pulled down both arms, I called Skierg, and they were very helpful, they had me take the side panel off and video the cords as they were in motion, I could see the spindle that carried the cord moving back and forth, was hitting the end of the panel and making that knocking sound, they told me to return and I am in the process of doing just that. I just put together the replacement and am still getting that knocking sound, I plan and calling Josh Carlson at Concept 2, who has been extremely helpful and get his input. Have any other users had the problem? Thanks' for any feedback.

I had 2 issues with mine (Have no time to do anything about it as I'm a smallchildfather and the litle time I have I need to train)
1. There was a loose plasticpeace inside the flywheel (flat and square maybe 3x10mm) that goes around with the flywheel and make noise.
2. The machine is not silent when freespinning and the noice increace when it return the cord. It's a sound of bad bearing. It's silent when I pull down.

I have this sound of a "bad bearing" too – at the end of freespinning.

Noise when the flywheel is freewheeling may be a result of a damaged clutch in one of the drive spools. If you shoot us and email or give us a call, we can work with you to get the problem taken care of.

A while ago I got new drive spools… works like a charm.

They offered me to send over a technician, but as it's an easy replacement, I did it by myself.
