I'm new to the board, and even tho i'm no pro rower, I macined about 3500 km on the rower and skierg, which i both own. Now the question is relatively simple, how much time do i need to train for a Ultra on the Skierg, how much time every training, what level of volume do i need to accumulate 2 weeks before the Ultra attempt. I give you a bit of me: it's now about 2 years i don't train competitively like i used to do before. Now i'm of course a bit (40 kg) overweight, and in the last months I started training again, reaching now a bout 40 minutes per day (around 6-10 km 5 times a week). Some days i row 25 km but of course i don't do sprints.
I read somewhere that in order to row/ski and ultra I should build up to 9 hours per week in the 6 weeks prior to the attempt. Anyone care to give some hints?
