Hi all
Just got my skierg, having had to give up rowing due to my knee
a very interesting machine.
for a week, i just gripped and ripped, trying to work out the best technique. last night i watched videos on youtube, especially the dark horse
i took on board the information, and felt a lot better today
however, on the way i watched a youtube video 'SkiErg Tutorial - 2: The How To Basics from a SkiErg Coach'

@7:00, and 11:15, the guy from C2 comments about how he tires his legs. i am not feeling anything in my legs. Is that normal.
Also, am i am about to get 6 loafs of hovis replacing my belly

Legs do not much, its the upper back, lats, triceps that are the driver.
The legs, only do shallow air squats. You can make it a lot harder if you jump a bit, works well for sprinting.
