So, I'm looking to pick up a SkiErg, and am seeing some of the Model 1 units (grey with PM4) and some Model 2 units (black with PM5).
What's the difference between the two? The PM, obviously, and I understand that you can't do single arm poling with the grey one.
Anything else?

Re: SkiErg Model 1 vs 2
The obsolete model1 is guaranteed to be six to eleven years old. The model2 is six years or less old.
The PM4 vs PM5 is the thing that makes the model2 a better choice.

Another main difference between the two are the handles.
Model 1 has straight white handles with a strap, model 2 has the luminous yellow/green handles shaped differently but without a strap. Best to use Google images to see exactly what I mean.

The model1 is only for double poling, no single stick/classic skiing. Model 2 can be skied either way.
