24 Hour Skierg

Post by Mal » January 27th, 2025, 10:15 am

Anybody contemplated/attempted/achieved a 24 hour skierg? I am considering on doing one this (an attempt at least) year. I have a strategy mapped in my head but am after any advice...

That’ll be quite the undertaking!

I’d recommend looking here:

There are a lot of good bits of advice. Its definitely possible, the current record stands at 283,131 meters! That said, just doing it would be a feat in itself!

I can see you have also completed a SkiErg 100,000m. Good job!
I also have a 24hr SkiErg in my future.

One thing I have done is set the PM5 up for the 24hr event and just ski, watching the part of the screen that shows estimated meters (at current pace) to confirm that you're on track.
Another is to use the Pace Calculator to confirm you're split time is on track.

Please share some of your tips too. Let's get this done!

Thanks for the links - much appreciated.
I'll have a crack at the 60-65 M WR... substantially less than 283,131!
