Mutliple SkiErg Users on PM5

Post by Joshdent » October 2nd, 2021, 11:07 pm

Hello everyone! I just purchased a SkiErg. My wife and I are both planning to use it. Is there a way to "log in" to the PM5 or some way to separate her exercise data from my exercise data? Thanks!

If you each use a personal USB stick that's effectively your "login" to the shared PM5. The old PM3/PM4 with the 32K LogCard allowed for multiple users on a single card, but that feature was removed with the PM5 that replaced the LogCard with a USB stick.

It's much better to use Ergdata on your phones as you get better data that way. The only requirement is to disconnect the PM5 from your phone when you're done.

You can both open a concept2 logbook and both use ergdata (or an other app) on a foon. Connect your personal app when you train and update it to your logbook. That way you both have only your own data stored.
