Skierg and Garmin watch

Post by autumn_darkness » June 6th, 2020, 7:55 pm

Hi :)

I am a new Concept2 consumer..

Bought a BikeErg 3 weeks ago and was super excited. So I bought a SkiErg two weeks ago (rower is not available here at this time) and it is also awsome.

I have a slight problem though. Connecting the bike with my Fenix6 and Garmin Connect was straight forward,- with the ski'er not so much. I am not able to connect my Fenix with the skierg in any way..

I was suprised to find Garmin is not offereing any Indoors Skiing program, but I would be happy with using the Cardio setting or whatever. But I just can't connect the skierg to my watch in any way. Can someone tell me the best way to ski(erg) with my fenix6?

All love!,- GRiM

It's the same PM5 with just different metrics. Maybe the skierg PM5 is defective.

You can connect Garmin connect with you concept logbook. your workouts will apear in Garmin connect when you sync ergdata.
Thats how i do it.
Just connect your Garmin connect in your Concept logbook.

Works perfectly connecting to the logbook.. But I still cant connect directly. Yes, its the same PM, but I think the skierg uses another protocol than the bikeerg?

I have the Garmin Forerunner 35. Great for running or cycling but pretty useless on rower and skierg.

I have the Garmin Forerunner 935 and connect to my Skierg and rowing machine using ErgIQ. It can be installed via the Connect IQ app. I use it in conjunction with ErgData or ErgZone.
