Attaching Ski Erg to Brick Wall

Hi,

Has anyone attached their Ski Erg directly to a brick wall if so what do I need to do this?

I want to attach mine directly my garage wall in th UK.

I haven't got one, but did look at the wall mount instructions when I was thinking about getting one last winter (after I tried one my dodgy shoulder said no!). I would have been screwing to bare block wall in my garage. I was just going to screw some wooden battens to the wall top and bottom using some wall plugs then bolt the skierg to the these battens using the supplied fixings. As the block wall isn't completely flat like a stud plasterboard or plastered wall, then the wooden battens take out the unevenness.

You could use Tapcons or "regular" expansion anchors (bottom image) to attach the wood to the wall:
