To buy or not to buy?
To buy or not to buy?
I’ve been using the rowerg before December 25th everyday and loving it at home! Going to the gym and getting back to home was too long since I don’t live close so I decided on rower. I’m not a thlete but trying to get back into shape. Ive lost 8lbs so far and have 26 more to go! I love the quality of Concept2 and debating on a skierg. How many use it at home and find it an addition to their workout? Is it worth it?

But they sell well second hand, so if needed you can sell your machine relative fast without a very big loss.

Re: To buy or not to buy?
I bought one recently and have done about 10 workouts on it. It was very awkward at first, but I'm starting to get into a rhythm.
I bought a rower about a year ago and went through the beginner pete plan (BPP). I have started doing the same for the SkiErg. My workouts on the rower are longer than when I started, so it's nice to be able to squeeze in an early BPP workout over lunch if I'm short on time.
I'm very happy with the purchase.

I use the Skierg in my garage on the wall and like it quite a bit, much more than I did the rowing machine.

I have both. Added the skierg last February to get some upper body (anterior muscle) work. It's been great to be able to use both. My total weekly meters have increased quite a bit. I do quite a bit of "back and forth" between them. For example on Sunday I did 4 rounds of 2K erg, 2K skierg for a total of 16K. Great workout and less mentally fatiguing than just doing one or the other the whole time.Waters73 wrote: ↑January 13th, 2019, 1:21 amI’ve been using the rowerg before December 25th everyday and loving it at home! That's a great idea. I've been thinking to try that with my bicycle trainer.kini62 wrote: ↑January 14th, 2019, 3:32 pmI have both.
