Convert Rower PM3 to SkiErg PM3

hello,
i wanted to ask if anyone knows a way to take an old PM3 from a rower and convert it for use with a SkiErg ?

Just connect it to SkiErg. It works the same , uses the same principle for calculations of split times / wattage. You will not get Just Ski in options or Ski dedicated games, but who cares ?

Changing the firmware to Ski erg will not fix this unless you can reprogram its board, but again - there is little point. I know swapping works because I swap pm4 from my rowerg to skierg (issues with pm5 and RowPro - still cant make it work).
