Offroad cycling V indoor rowing

I've just agreed to do a 162 mile coast to coast ride in the North of England in June 2011 and want to use my C2 rower to help me train for the event.
The route is mainly off road on tracks and bridleways and although I have done events of this type before (Polaris three times-before kids!), I have not done any for a few years!
Does anyone have any info regarding off road cycling v rower comparisons, or is this too difficult to gauge?
I am rowing C. 30,000 meters per week and cycling 30-50 miles per week on turbo trainer and on/off road. I have rowed a couple of marathons before, best time was 3 hrs 8 mins (6 years ago though).
Any thoughts?
Mike.
