Hi All
on the off chance someone else has or uses a Nordic Track Treadmill, we have one and it comes with a setting called active pulse, which adjusts the pace/incline based on HR levels.
WIthin the setup software, users set their max/resting HR values which intr un then leads (or should lead) to the software setting exercise intensity based on a percentage of the HRmax value. Or perhaps i should say, that this would seem logical.
However, my wife has taken to using the treadmill, and her % values are weird, for example her 50% HR value is 116bpm which would give rise to a HRmax value of 232bpm when in reality hers is c.183bpm.
Anyway, the question is if any else has or uses a Nordic Track device incorporating active pulse be interested in your experiences with HR values and the exercise ranges.
Thanks for looking.
Glenn
