He's six foot, but skinny. Same genetics as me, so he should be able to get there.
ttveg, I think your pacing should start slower and get faster. Rather than trying to keep even splits all the way through, speed up as you begin to anticipate the joy of stopping hurting yourself!
Since buying a C2, and starting this round of erg training in January (I did some at a gym in the mid 2000s), I sneaked under the 7 minute barrier 3 or 4 weeks ago. So hard training, and upping your pace whenever you can Just Works. You get faster!
