Hello,
The Bermuda sun has effected our oars and turned them grey (gray).
Any ideas for rejuvinating them back to black please?

Michael,
Here's a link that should be of interest:
http://www.cstcomposites.com/markets/ma ... -products/

The resin system used in our shafts has a UV inhibitor, but eventually the resin will break down as described in the link. A light sanding followed by a coat of paint (your choice of color!!) should bring them back. The less exposure to sun the better, so if you can store them under cover you should do so. C2JonW

Thank you very much for this - interesting. I will try on a test broken oar.
We do store all equipment under cover but I guess the sun effects are cumulative over years.
Thank you for taking the time to reply :D
