Gearing my blades...

Post by Bromley » July 15th, 2008, 12:44 pm

Right i've seen a lot of different opinions of how to gear blades, most say to just gear them how you like and then change them and see if they're any better, but none of the sites i have looked at gave me a starting point.

My club uses 'big blades' and I row a double normally, occasionally in a single.

I'm about 85-90 kg
6"4' and a half (about 194 cm)
have been rowing for a year

Thanks all!
I train hard, I row hard... But only when i'm not hung over

Start with whatever they are set at the moment...

Or 87/287 on a 159-160 span is as good a starting point as any, off the top of my head...
