Hi
best time on online ranking 10k 19-29 years old , heavy weight 2008 is:
29:50.00 but according to information on concept2.com world record is 32:00.7 .
so is this cheat?why would someone do enything like that?to feel better?
or perhaps i'm wrong and this is new world record?
or information about records on concept2.com are wrong?

well that time is clearly fabricated, since that would be sub 1:30 for 10k, and i know Wadell just set the new record for 5k, at just sub 1:30 split, so their's no way someone went 29:50. But thats why in order for it to be officially accepted it has to be verified.

The person could have made a typing error while submitting the score. You can also email C2 to alert them of the error and they'll probably remove the time from ranking. I've seen it done before.

You can submit the score by entering it online. He probably just made a mistake.

you will notice that it does not have a number and is not therefore officially listed. It won't get a place number at the top unless it can be verified (by witness or PM code).

Otherwise, IND entries not at the top of the ranking can be entered by anyone, and are based on the honor system.

Rowpro entries are uploaded by rowpro. If you venture online and row them with us, it won't count officially to C2 but at least for me, that is more than good enough to trust.

It is interesting that those place numbers are dynamically generated based on the search. If you list all hwt men, there is only the one at the top not numbered, plus somebody below #1. But if you go to the 40s hwts, there are 3 at the top not numbered, and Andreas is listed first with a verified entry. Same with the 20s hwts.

So a row can be listed with a place number in an expanded search but drops the place number with a more specific search.
