For the past five months I have been rowing fairly consistantly on the water 4-5 times per week and on the erg 2-4 times per week.
The henley regatta marked the end of the summer season and now I begin golf for the fall (a sport which i love and would not give up for crew).
I plan on rowing in college and would not like to lose much endurance over the next 3 months, so Ive decided to commit to 3 erg sessions per week.
My question is, with this drop in sessions per week, can i hope to uphold my endurance throughout the fall?
Also, any specific workouts, which would benifit me the most would be appreciated.
Thanks

See my post in the "New girl after training advice" you should be able to get what you want somewhere within. Good luck.sammac112 wrote:For the past five months I have been rowing fairly consistantly on the water 4-5 times per week and on the erg 2-4 times per week.

With three workouts a week you will likely lose some endurance. Try bumping it to four, and alternate that fourth as either AT/Cat4 pieces (ie: 30-60' of 6k to 6k+3 pace of no less than 10' per interval) or TR/Cat3 pieces (ie: 20-30' of 6k-2 to 6k-5 with 3' to 6' per interval). The other three workouts are SS.
