Older Model Seat

I currently train on the model D but the seat doesn't work well for me. I really liked the seat that used to be on the model B. The rear cut away and the 2 cut outs for your sit bones. Does anyone know where I could find one of these? Thanks

Wow!

Carl's seat would cost you as much as a entire Model B would from Craigslist.

But not nearly as nice.

It's not quite that expensive, but it ain't cheap. I don't usually ask what custom stuff is going to cost when dealing with Carl, and he has always treated me fairly. The only problem at the moment is the weak dollar to pound conversion.

To clarify, just the seat top (built significantly thicker) made to attach to the Mod C/D/E carriage is what Carl will build. Oh yeah, shipping is a bit also. :wink:

BTW, I may be in the market for a Core Perform in the future. I will kepp you in mind.

I hate the regular C2 seat as well. It is made to look appealing to fat people in gyms, not for people who actually spend time on the machine suffering away. I have no bum and the flat seat hurts and gives me bruises!

A much cheaper solution is to buy a $1 foam seat pad. They are very nice and you can use them on any erg you use. I prefer the ones with round holes, but I have seen some will retangles for holes.
