lifting hooks

Post by Dreadnought » May 29th, 2007, 10:49 pm

Has anyone used the lifting hooks used by powerlifters to take stress off their wrists when doing heavy deadlifts? I developed some tendinitis in my wrists and elbows when I did a lot erging earlier this year. I am thinking about trying them when I get back into erging.

Are there any rules that would prevent their use?

Dread,
Have a look at New Grips:http://www.newgrip.com/
I use them once in a while as the C2 D handle tears up the skin on my hands (or did). These gloves prevent that and add wrist support.

Best regards
