Illness and 2k test

If i was ill, and decided to do the 2k test anyway, what do you think would happen? Would I do my test worse than i actually could or it would just prolong my recovery from illness?

You would probably do worse and take longer to recover from your sickness.

I think it depends, but in general, it probably wouldn't be a good thing.

I read somewhere if it's above the neck, it might be okay, but if the illness is below the neck (i.e. - in the lungs) don't do it.

I wouldn't recomend doing an all-out 2k being ill, but sometimes a bit of fever can do strange things:
I pb'd my 2k (taking 3 secs off my previous) in november, having fever.
Don't know if I would have been able to do any better in normal conditions...

I agree with Ancho!!

But, I don't know what HE , in his case, means with
normal conditions...

Yeah - there have been cases with flu when it weakens peoples hearts and causes heart attacks later on in life.
