hey
im 15, 6 foot 6 inches, 240 lbs (i know, quite large)
im in my second year of rowing for my high school, Thomas Jefferson
i recently rowed a 2K of 6:50.7, a personal record by 30 sec from last year
my coach wants me to get a better time since my weight is alot
he goes by the power to weight ratio (avg watts in peice divided by weight) a 1.0 means ur pulling ur weight only, higher the better
i got a 1.35, which is alright, but i think it should be higher
but than i have to pull like a 6:30
any tips for training, thoughts on wieght ratio?
thanx
