Question on Tapering down for a 2K

Post by CoCanes » January 17th, 2007, 10:45 pm

I am averaging around 10-12k a day right now, doing SS 3 days a week and interval training the other 3 days with wieghts after (one day being a lazy bum and watching football). How long and how do you recommend tapering for a 2k? Should I back off on the SS and concentrate on the interval pieces shortening the distance/time while increasing recovery time?

G'Day Co. Not sure if you have seen this, but it is a 2000m interactive training program designed for any fitness level to achieve a peak 2000m time.

Cheers
