seat pads

hi! i have a quick question...if i use a seat pad in a boat (abotu 2 inches high), do you think that it would be helpful to use a seat pad on the erg?

I don't use a pad because that hasn't worked for me. Just make sure you sit tall on your sitting bones. Spend a few seconds before you start rowing to get yourself sitting "right".

I use a sore-no-more (sorbothane) pad from JL Designs for both my boat and erg.
