out of curiosity

Hey, I'm a college rower. This is my second year rowing, we just did our first 6k test. I pulled a 24:50 on it. I'm only 5'4"/ 130lb. Is that a good time? decent time? horrible time? I know where I stand in comparison to other girls on the team, I was just wondering, in general. Thanks!

Have you tried looking at the following:

http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/rankings.asp

You'd rank 4th out of fourteen, or if you try and compare that against 5K times (24:50 / 6 = 4:08.5 (approx), 4.08.5 * 5 = 20:42.5) yours would be third on the list of the existing 18.

Obviously, these are not the scores of competitive women, except the top few, but it might help you set your bearings.
